This was the start of Clark Builders (CB). With the addition of Bill Giebelhaus, the company moved its headquarters from Yellowknife to Edmonton. The company's roots are in the oil and gas industry. CB has, over the years, transitioned its focus to more traditional construction projects in the areas of Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional buildings across public and private sectors of work. The company still emanates the can-do, entrepreneurial spirit of life in Canada's most remote regions. And this begins with its people. With a diverse and dynamic team across field and office personnel, the talents flow from individual, to team, to project. CB continually strives for improvement. It turned to construction automation for an immediate and positive impact on the company. CB leveraged Proji-Controle to identify the automation solutions from On Center Software, Hard Dollar, and Primavera. CB's reputation of integrity is built one great person and one great project at a time. The entire company drives to consistency, quality, and efficiency and all of this results in a core set of values centered on Respect, Communication, and Trust. The $115 million expansion to the existing twin arenas includes office space for community groups, pools, fitness centre, gym and skate park, and multiple soccer fields. CCRC is the third structure alongside that of the Clareview Public Library and the Cardinal Collins Catholic Schools to create gathering spaces for people to learn, be active, and connect with others. CB was selected to deliver the CCRC because of its experience and success with recreational projects. The company is able to advise its customers throughout the design and build process. CCRC was a large concrete project where accuracy and efficiency improved the overall success of the project. The centre was a challenging project because of the pools which must be done with exacting precision.
